I do have Heterochromia, my Right eye is green while my left is Brown. (or is it the other way round? I forget >.<) Anyway, everyone always tells me how jealous they are of me when they first meet me anime conventions and stuff =P saying they wish they had different coloured eyes too. I guess it is kinda cool to be unique like that but gets boring as hell after a while. I'm not joking when I say I sometimes forget I have different coloured eyes. It's only when I catch my self in the mirror that I remember. It's a novelty that wears off fast and you no longer really remember its there. Plus it makes it really easy for people to identify you when you don't want to be remembered. People from old schools etc that you've got no interest in talking to always recognise the kid with different coloured eyes no matter how long its been or how much else of your appearance you've changed. Not always a bad thing I guess.
